On the night of graduation, THS will host Project Graduation, an all-night drug and alcohol free celebration for our seniors. This safe and positive senior rite-of-passage is organized by the Tenafly High School Home School Association.  Project Graduation is an all-expenses-paid event to which every graduating senior is invited. Expenses are covered by direct donations from parents, the local community, and through fundraisers throughout the school year.  Donations will help ensure the safety of our seniors on graduation night.

WHAT IS PROJECT GRADUATION?

Project Graduation is a national program to provide an alternative to “traditional” graduation night drinking and driving. The percentage of teen automobile fatalities involving alcohol jumps from 33 percent to 40 percent on the night of graduation. WE NEED TO KEEP OUR KIDS SAFE.

Project Graduation is also about paying it forward.  We all will have a senior in high school one day and be proud to celebrate that senior.  The THS H.S.A.’s parent volunteers have worked hard each year to rally community support and funding to create the annual event for our seniors.   The after-graduation party succeeds through the efforts of countless volunteers to make a safe and festive environment for our seniors to commemorate their special milestone.  There are many ways that you may help to ensure that Project Graduation continues to be a special night for our community.
